The local goth club in Baltimore, (okay.. the only one ^_^) is having a gothic and lolita fashion show!!  My goal is to make an authentic outfit by this Friday to wear to the event.

Armed with my new sewing machine, I'm gonna make the petticoat (pink and black) today, plus start on my skirt.  It's probably going to be pink with black trim as well.  Black paired with baby pink (not that awful hot pink) seems to be very pretty.

Black and white is just too boring!  Well wish me luck!  We'll see how it goes.

I'm fighting with my GF right now, I'm pretty upset but I'm trying to make it okay again.  Of course, as dorky as it sounds, this video keeps making me feel better.

I SWEAR I can't watch it without smiling!  She's so beautiful and I love this movie.

The con was pretty good!  I saw a Piccolo cosplayer, and finished one costume!  (baby steps, okay? ^_^)
My lolita outfit killed my machine and I couldn't finish it!!!!
I was getting so awesome at gathering the tulle too....
Here is my Shiloh costume:

If only I could have found a bigger Graverobber!  The guy is so short that I look 8 feet tall...
He was cute though.

Wow, my first journal entry!

I decided to finally join not so much to keep up with old friends as keep better track of projects and maybe make some new ones.  Otakon, the anime convention in Baltimore, is happening next week and I'm concentrating to try and make two new costumes between now and then.

One is a cosplay of Shiloh Wallace from REPO! The Genetic Opera, in her adorable Goth outfit from her first meeting with the Graverobber.

And I've also promised to come up with a new lolita outfit as well, so I can dress up with a friend who's recently discovered the style.  I know it sounds bad to dress as a lolita at and anime convention, but I assure you it's no cosplay.

Even my actual cosplay isn't anime-based, although I think it should be fun and recognizable.  So far I have the vest I have to alter, so hopefully I'll be able to get that and the shirt out of the way by tomorrow, as well as beginning the petticoat for my lolita dress.  We'll see how that goes ^_^

I'm such a procrastinator!
